Now in our 42th year of operation, here at Dowleys we are looking forward to what 2017 has in store. Having taken on the ISUZU Main Franchise at the end of 2016, we are very much looking forward to the challenge of driving this Very Popular 4x4 Pickup Brand forward as well as maintaining our reputation to our existing 4000 customers who have all vast range of vehicle Brands .
The Company was founded in 1975 by Arthur and Millie Dowley and the Company retains it’s strong family connections with their Son, Richard and his wife Elizabeth now running the business, and also, their son, Jourdin who completed his apprenticeship in 2012, which will ensure the business will be handed over to a third generation and hopefully beyond in years to come.
For many years, having concentrated solely on workshop based business, it was due to our relocation from the Alvescot Road site, that we decided to undertake used car sales, alongside our usual workshop business, this having been successful, we decided to continue our growth and were delighted when we were appointed an official Great Wall Franchise Main Dealer in 2012, and most recently an ISUZU Franchise Main Dealer in 2016.
We are hugely committed to customer satisfaction and have introduced a wide range of service options and workshop offers to suit the needs of our customer’s pockets and the needs of their vehicles too!!
We are a member of the RMI (Retail Motor Industry)’s Trust My Garage Scheme and are willingly bound by the promise to deliver 100% satisfaction to our customers.
